Angelina Nugent

Angelina Nugent hails from outside Castlebar and has worked in local and national media for over 25 years. 

Angelina began her career as a sports reporter with Midwest Radio and The Connaught Telegraph, became only the second ever female Sports Editor with Midwest at 19 and also worked in the radio station’s News Department. 

Since leaving Midwest Radio over four years ago, she has set up her own communications company "Action Communications" where she provides social media content creation, social media management, PR services and advice and MC services. 

Angelina is also freelance with RTÉ Radio 1 Sport over the past three years and covers every code of GAA across the country.
