Tina currently serves as the Director of Shalom World North America. Since 2014, she has been leading the television network in the USA, curating programs for families, youth, and children, while collaborating with leading ministries worldwide. Tina earned her Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Irvine. During her college years, while active in youth ministry and her local parish, she became increasingly aware of the powerful influence secular media had on young people and how it shaped their worldview. This inspired her to integrate media into youth ministry, constantly seeking impactful Catholic resources that could guide and inspire the next generation. Although she worked at a leading engineering firm in San Diego, Tina felt a deeper call. Her growing involvement in evangelization and youth outreach intensified her desire to serve those who had yet to encounter Christ. A pivotal moment came when she attended a leadership training conference by Shalom Media, which focused on forming media missionaries for the new evangelization. Compelled by the Holy Spirit and encouraged by her husband, she made the bold decision to leave her engineering career and dedicate herself fully to Shalom World's media mission. In her role, Tina partners with parishes, schools, and ministries, equipping and empowering them to use media for evangelization. For her, Catholic media is not just a tool but an essential companion in daily formation—guarding young hearts, inspiring families, equipping ministries, and shaping modern-day saints.
